Follow this step-by-step guide to floss your teeth correctly. Are you looking for Flossing Technique Advise in Dubai or Al Furjan.

Flossing instructions

  • About 18 to 24 inches of dental floss should be cut off. To properly hold the floss, wrap most of it around your middle fingers. Leave your teeth only 1 to 2 inches of floss.
  • Then, use your thumbs and index fingers to pull the floss tight.
  • Put the floss between two of your teeth. Rub the floss against both sides of each tooth as you gently move it up and down. Don’t run the floss between your teeth and gums. This can hurt your gums or scratch them.
  • As the floss gets to your gums, bend it into a C shape at the base of the tooth. This makes room for the floss to get between your gum and tooth.
  • As you move from tooth to tooth, repeat the steps. Use a new, clean piece of floss for each tooth.

Flossing instructions for braces

  • About 18 to 24 inches of waxed dental floss should be broken off.
  • Stand in front of a mirror so you can make sure the floss is going where you need it to.
  • Start by putting the floss between the main wire and your teeth. Twist the ends of the floss around your index fingers so that you can easily move it around.
  • Try to be as gentle as you can when you put the floss between two teeth. Then, move the floss up and down along both sides of both teeth.
  • To clean your top teeth, try to shape the floss into an upside-down U. To do this, move up one tooth’s side until you reach the gumline. Then, move the floss down the side of the other tooth.
  • Carefully pull the floss away from the wire and untangle it from behind it.
  • You could lose a wire if you pull the floss out of your tooth by popping it out.
  • Now, move on to the next two teeth and use the same method until you’ve flossed between all of your teeth.
