Dr. Shashank Babel is an experienced Specialist Endodontist in Dubai with over 16
years of experience in dentistry. His practice focuses on advanced endodontic care, root
canal treatment, restorative dentistry, and preserving natural teeth whenever possible.
Known for his careful and patient-focused approach, Dr. Shashank believes that dental
treatment should be as comfortable and stress-free as possible. He takes the time to
explain each stage of treatment clearly, helping patients understand their condition and
feel confident about the care they receive.
For the past 2 years, Dr. Shashank has been practicing at Crossroads Dental Clinic,
Dubai, where he treats patients requiring root canal treatment, single-visit root canal
therapy, root canal re-treatment, post and core procedures, restorative dentistry, and
management of complex endodontic cases.
Born and raised in India, Dr. Shashank completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
from Eklavya Dental College and Hospital, Jaipur, in 2010. He later pursued his Master
of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Endodontics from Terna Dental College, Mumbai,
graduating in 2015.
As a root canal specialist in Dubai, Dr. Shashank has extensive experience in
diagnosing and treating infected, damaged, and previously treated teeth. His clinical
interests include single-visit root canal treatment, endodontic re-treatment, minimally
invasive dentistry, laser endodontics, complex and curved root canal treatment, dental
restorations, post and core procedures, and management of traumatic dental injuries.
His approach is centred on preserving the natural tooth whenever clinically possible. By
using modern endodontic techniques and evidence-based treatment protocols, he aims
to relieve dental pain, control infection, restore function, and achieve predictable long-
term outcomes.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Shashank has a strong academic and research
background. He has published more than 20 research papers in national and
international journals and has served as a reviewer for the International Journal of
Research in Medical Sciences & Technology. He has also presented his research at
various conferences across India, contributing to ongoing developments in endodontics
and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Shashank previously served as a Senior Lecturer at Terna Dental College, Mumbai,
where he was actively involved in the clinical and academic training of undergraduate
and postgraduate dental students.
From 2015 to 2022, he worked as a Consultant Endodontist at several established
dental clinics in Mumbai, including Denteus – The Specialist Hub, Dr. N.G. Mehta
Dental Clinic, and Surbhi Dental Care.
From 2022 to 2023, he worked as a Senior Consultant at Clove Dental, where he
managed complex endodontic cases across 14 branches in New Delhi. During this
period, he also served as a mentor for the Endodontic Fellowship Program in
collaboration with Medversity.
His passion for teaching has continued throughout his career. Dr. Shashank has
mentored dentists in Rotary Endodontics and Advanced Re-treatment Workshops at 32
Smiles Dental Clinic, Mumbai, sharing practical knowledge and advanced techniques
for root canal treatment, endodontic re-treatment, and complex case management.
With a combination of clinical expertise, academic experience, research knowledge, and
a calm patient-centred approach, Dr. Shashank provides comprehensive root canal
treatment in Dubai for patients with both routine and challenging dental conditions.
His goal is simple: to relieve pain, treat dental infection effectively, restore the tooth, and
